You know the track is going to be a banger as soon as you hear the fast and vibrant live percussion that opens the track, 'Sindayo (Mikey Young's Masinko Remix)'. The Krar (5 string violin-like instrument) is given a moment to shine in the new stripped-down production, it's melody flowing freely like a fast-paced river. Inspired by traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean folk songs, Music Yared's vocal melodies are raw to our Western ears, making them all the more enticing as the singing dances around East Africa.
